The Great North

Tweet As Can Be

Pardon our appearance. Our website is under construction. You can still browse through all your favorite collections new and old and everything is in working order. Just contact us and let us know if you have any questions.

Arbor Hill: Whisper-soft florals, elegant paisleys, a lovely wallpaper stripe - the Arbor Hill collection is a study in soft tones and textures. The florals are delicately painted, and the entire palette is soft blues or pinks, with gentle touches of ivory. A wonderful choice for a relaxing bedroom or for little girl dresses for special occasions.

Rock Garden Balis: Got the blues? We do, but not the sad kind, but the luscious rich sky blue, water blue, sapphire blue, and teal blue that we all love to use in our homes. Mix in a little purple, some rust and green, and you have our Triple Dye Bali Rock Garden collection, a fabulously textured group that you will reach for time and again.

The Great North Wilderness: Not your ordinary nature group! The bears, wolves and penguins depicted in these incredible prints have a  beautiful painterly quality. The owl paintings are extraordinary, and the color palette - soft grays, taupes, russets and browns is perfect for any environment. This is a truly handsome collection for anyone who enjoys nature and the bounty of the great outdoors.

Tweet As Can Be: A contemporary look for the teenage girl or tween in your life. Cool silver and charcoal pairs with chartreuse and orchard in these lively prints. Adorable birds, geometric leaf textures and pop art flowers give this collection life. Check out the coordinating solids from Color Connection! Tons of options to choose from for your next project!

Is this fabric really printed, or is hand-dyed? That’s the question most often asked about this beautiful new nature collection. It’s easy to see why people are asking! Each one of these prints has a rich, layered hand-dyed quality. Just look at the Fernwood leaves, or hand-blocked fern prints. (Or see the exquisite handmade textures in the Fernwood stripe!) These elements have all the rustic charm of a hand-blocked print, as the colors merge effortlessly together. Simply lovely!

Ski Country
by Bristol Bay Studios

This fabulous collection of ski prints was inspired by vintage ski posters, mixed with wintery scenics and snow textures. (There’s even a ski sweater knit print - so cool!). Mix and match the prints for great travel bags and knapsacks, or cut and piece them for a wallhanging for your favorite ski aficionado. Also great for lodge bedspreads and curtains!

Starburst (Contempo)
by Michelle D'Amore

Elegant and sophisticated, with a hand-printed look, Michele’s “Starburst” collection is a study of contrasts and textures. The group features an intricate medallion print, cool cat’s eye diamond print, hand-printed stripes, and delicate lines. The colors? A very earth-friendly gray-brown or a popular indigo-blue combo. The entire collection looks like a treasured package carried back from an exotic land where fine design is still done by hand. Very cool!

Santa's Here

Santa’s been to visit, and he’s left behind TWO enormous Christmas stockings, just waiting to be sewn up and filled with little gifts. These stockings are simply charming, and they can be used back-to-back to make them reversible, or you can make two separate stockings and back them with one of the coordinates. (You can even use the stockings as part of a quilt, if you wish!) These stockings will soon become a Christmas tradition to look forward to in the years to come.
